Welcome to Euromethod

  Euromethod is now marketed under the name ISPL

In 1998 the European Commission has made an evaluation of Euromethod and its use and came to the following conclusions:

• Euromethod is technically sound
• Euromethod is often misunderstood as being a SW-development method rather than a contract management method
• Euromethod is not used in the administrations in Europe
• Euromethod is not marketed well.

The European Commission therefore launched a new programme  SPRITE-S²:    Support and Guidance to the PRocurement of Information and TElecommunication Systems and Services.

As part of this programme Euromethod was repackaged into a set of small booklets, a tool, a user group and a certification scheme.

With the friendly support of the European Commission (SPRITE-S² Programme) the documents of Euromethod Version 1 can still be downloaded for free.
