The ISPL philosophy according to ITIL
Four practical books constitute
the basis known as the Information Services Procurement Management Essentials.
These books are on Managing Acquisition Processes, Specifying Deliverables,
and Managing Risks and Planning Deliveries. Furthermore, there is a Dictionary.
Additionally, a specific book addresses public procurement. On the basis
of these essentials, plug-ins are provided for specific needs and situations.
Currently, three plug-ins are available for which a large market potential
is foreseeable. The plug-in domains are: web services, IT service management
services, and large scale migration services.
ISPL is not only concerned
with books:

are provided for two different types of ISPL users: one to master the ISPL
foundation level and one to become an ISPL procurement manager

to mobilise suppliers and customers in the area of procurement. This user
